“The Renny Abraham TANKER Foundation LOVE FOR SERVICE Award” 2018
TANKER Foundation invites nominations for our annual award for the most outstanding Medical Doctor in India who has gone beyond the call of duty in rendering service to the underprivileged.
The Award:
The award will carry a cash prize of Rs. 1,00,000/-, a citation and a gold medallion. The award winner's accommodation and travel by train (Second Class A/c) will be reimbursed.
Criteria:
- Age – No Limit.
- Medical Doctor.
- Individual, resident in India.
- The community servicemust be carried out in India by the individual for a minimum of 5 yrs.
- The servicemust be an outstanding contribution towards helping the needy by going beyond the call of duty.
Award Selection Process:
The person nominating will need to send a detailed report of the nominee including name, address, contact no. and type of work carried out and why he/she deserves the award - 5 copies to TANKER Foundation by post and 1 copy by e-mail for review by the screening committee.
The screening committee will short list the applications and forward it to the award selection committee.The last date for nominations is 15th December 2017.
“K.V. George Kottukulam Memorial TANKER Foundation Young Investigator Award 2018"
TANKER Foundation and K. V. George Foundation invite applications for their annual award for the most outstanding young researcher in Nephrology in India.
The Award:
The award will carry a cash prize of Rs. 2,00,000/-, a citation and a gold medallion. The award winner's accommodation and travel by train (Second Class A/c) will be reimbursed.
Criteria:
- Age under 45 yrs.
- Primary researcher must have been a major contributor to the research work.
- The research must have been done in India.
- Co-investigators consent should be given.
- The research must not have been presented elsewhere.
- The research must be an outstanding contribution towards understanding kidney diseases, of relevance to India.
Award Selection Process:
The applicants will need to send a detailed research report – 5 copies to TANKER Foundation by post and 1 copy by e-mail for review by the screening committee.The screening committee will select the submitted research project that will compete for the award and forward it to the award selection committee.The last date for submission is 15th December 2017.
